Great house, but!!
Marilyn - 4th January 2022This house is beautifully designed and the location is perfect. Lovely walk to the beach and easy walk to town either by footpath or beach. Great to be able to bring the family dog. House is huge and easily big enough for two families. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Pool is lovely. However, quite a bit of maintenance is needed. The lounge needs throwing out as it stinks!! The floor grout in the main bathroom needs redoing. Paint beside the pool is falling off. The screens and doors leading off to the outside need fixing as one of the screens kept falling off and one of the doors was very difficult to close. The garage door actually screams when opened or closed. The downstairs needs a screen door and a curtain for some privacy. As there was no screen door and no opening window, the air-conditioning had to be used every night. This house definitely needs some maintenance and unfortunately we won't be back and will look for something which is better maintained especially for the price paid.

HayleynDyl - 19th November 2021we stayed here in Nov 2020 and fell inlove with the place, just knew we had to come back for longer the next year. come 2021 we recently stayed for 2 weeks and we’re very disappointed. the house looked like it had a quick clean there was still crumbs/ dirt through out the house. the waterfall on the pool wasn’t working, just dribbling down the rocks, half the lights/ light switches didn’t work (they did have spare bulbs but none for what was needed), the patio doors were falling off the rail and wouldn’t stay, the moss build up on the top deck and parts of the glass around the pool was like it hasn’t been cleaned in minimum of 6 months, the outside table had ash all over it, in all honesty the outside just needed a good power wash and new paint at least around the pool. we also had a neighbour threaten if we were the home owners there would be a problem due to our car being a little loud, we were super respectful throughout the trip and if we had to leave early in the morning for say Brisbane, we would crawl out of the resort. very disappointed with the amount of money we paid, sadly we won’t be coming back to this house, definitely needs updated pics because photos online do the house justice. is still a beautiful home and beautiful stay but needs some tlc.

Great Property
Allan - 19th September 2020Stayed for a week in September, we had a couple of small issues, which the property managers looked into straight away. The house was clean inside but the outside could do with a good hose down and clean. A few leaves in the pool, but hey you are in a quiet bushy area, and there is the pool scoop to clean out the leaves, minor issue, and could do with some pool lounge chairs. Two large decks to relax on, upstairs for the adults which overlooks the pool and down for the children. The house is close to the beach, 300m walk, and just a short drive to town or 30minute walk along the beach. We would highly recommend this place for 2 to 8 people. We will be back.

Varny - 8th January 2019Nice house BUT, ac in main bed was not working luckily we were compensated by the owner, could also do with ac in other upstairs bedrooms, surrounded by beautiful trees but kept filling the pool full of leaves, needed cleaning daily if you wanted to use it. and BBQ probably hasn't had a proper clean since new as the amount of grease and fat under the burners made for a very charcoal steak.
A truly beautiful home away from home

Perfect location, the pool is always inviting, the outdoor areas are great for relaxing and entertaining, plenty of space for the dog to run around and the beach is just a short stroll away. A truly wonderful home to relax and unwind in and would be perfect if air-conditioning was added to the upstairs areas as it was a little uncomfortable upstairs during our last stay.

randkschofield - 11th October 2018This is our second visit to 2 Satinwood Drive, Rainbow Shores and we enjoyed this visit even more. Some of the items that needed attention at our last visit have been fixed such as the outdoor fans. Some of the appliances are old and really need to be replaced. There wasn't enough cutlery. The frypans need an update also. We were also disappointed to find that the gas bottle was empty when we decided to bbq one night but luckily visitors had a gas bottle with them. We would have thought that this is part of the cleaners job to check. It is free to fill up so we filled it for the next person.
